Having just completed five cartoonish frogs I thought now would be a good time to finish up a trio of insects that have literally been hanging around my basement for a year.
The three insects include a mosquito, dragonfly and fat butterfly. The wings were created from wire and string mache while the body parts consist of strip covered balloons, rolled newspaper and egg cartons.
These guys are close to completion I just want to add some more detailing and texture with papier mache clay before they are painted.
