August Projects: Asylum Skulls

You can never have too many skulls for Halloween and here is one box, yes there’s more.

These were created using a new technique I’m working on…when done they will feature movable jaws.

They are called “Asylum Skulls” because they are being created for a specific project…more on that later.

Scott,

Through a very circuitous route I had followed posts of yours from painting a faux stone wall to your preferred tools to use in paper mache to your first paper mache prop, the elephant.

Along the way (that "You might also like" feature is great!) I see there were several posts related to the time you worked in Battle Field, MI, and wonder whether these skulls have anything to do with zombies. If so, the skulls have improved greatly. Even if not, the latest works already have a lot of character.

Look forward to seeing what comes of them and learning more about the new technique. You just might be able to end up making your own three-axis talking skull when all is said and done!

Cheers,
Rich
