Anamorphic Artwork (Coolness)
This evening I experimented with some anamorphic artwork.
Anamorphic artwork is flat art (2D) that has been distorted so that when viewed
from a certain vantage point appears three dimensional. These examples were
achieved using Photoshop and some of my old artwork, in addition to the
distortion adding shadows and cutting the paper added to the illusion. The 3D
effect only works if you close one eye or view it through a camera lens, even
so I’m sure there could be a cool application in a haunt or Halloween display.
There are a lot of tutorials and videos showing how to creating this effect, I
followed a tutorial on www.instructables.com
to create these pieces.

Home Depot Style Challenge 2014
This past September I partnered with The Home Depot in their Halloween Style Challenge for a second year in a row, using Home Depot products and my prop skills I came up with Spookshow Obscura, a take on the traditional carnival freakshow. You can view the Home Depot blog entry here.
