How Cool Is This?

Last week my oldest son surprised me with a gift he made in his 9^th grade welding class. Created from 24 hard cut masonry nails this iron spider has to be one of the coolest gifts that I have ever received.

Thanks Carter….now you need to teach me to weld.

Christmas Leftovers Part II

Santa left me a big box of procrastination this year. In my world of great ideas I had decided to give two papier mache pumpkins as gifts to my Mom and my Mother-In-Law as they both enjoy Halloween and my props.

Homemade gifts are a wonderful gesture but when you wait until the week prior to Christmas to start making them things can get stressful. The good news is that the pumpkins were completed on time and the recipients seemed to enjoy their gifts.
